Response of Organic Biostimulants and Silicon to Growth, Yield and Quality of Tomato under Soil Salinity Conditions

چکیده
Abiotic stresses strongly affect plant growth, nutrient composition and quality of production; final crop yield can be really compromised if stress occurs in plants’ most sensitive phenological phases. The present field study was conducted to evaluate the effect biostimulants on improvement tolerance tomato plants exposed salinity. soil condition with pH- 8.7 EC- 4 dS m-1 recorded. After first fruit set tomato, Organic biostimulant (Organic mix high concentration carboxylic acids, containing calcium oxide (CaO), ammonium ligninsulfonate Zinc) were given by drenching Orthosilicic acid as silicon source foliar spray at every 10 – 15 days interval. treatments include 0.3ml/plant & 0.6ml/plant, 0.2% 0.4%. observations taken during greener red ripening stage. positively affected height chlorophyll fluorescence. Biostimulants allowed maintain lower level electrolyte leakage osmotic potential within plant. activities catalase (CAT) superoxide dismutase (SOD) enzymes increased increases salinity: thereby kept reactive oxygen species. Under saline conditions due ionic imbalance, potassium content both shoots roots recorded lower, whereas sodium found higher than control plants. Similarly, a significant increase total soluble solids firmness fruits. Yield characters like number per plant, single yield, weight flower ratio application biostimulants. organic administered greater dose appeared effective our investigation.

like any other learning activity, translation is a problem solving activity which involves executing parallel cognitive processes. the ability to think about these higher processes, plan, organize, monitor and evaluate the most influential executive cognitive processes is what flavell (1975) called “metacognition” which encompasses raising awareness of mental processes as well as using effectiv...

Physiological Response of Quinoa to Nitrogen Application under Salinity Conditions
Salinity stress is one of the major abiotic stresses which injures plants by limited water absorption and nutrient imbalance and limits crop growth. In order to study the effect of nitrogen fertilizer on physiological traits of quinoa at high salt concentrations, a greenhouse experiment was conducted in a factorial arrangement based on a randomized complete block with three replications in 2019...
